Reuters released an article Friday, May 20th, that stated; according to reports from the Egyptian Navy and Defense Minister of Greece, luggage and some debris from EgyptAir Flight MS804, had been found in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday and Friday.
The commercial airliner had suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from radar several days ago, while at an altitude of 37,000ft. and approximately 30 minutes from landing. The plane was en-route from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers aboard when it disappeared.
While some believe the passenger jet was shot down by active terrorist cells in the region, there has been no actual evidence to confirm this suspicion, and the search for the plane’s Black Box still resumes.
With the discovery of the debris and luggage, and President, Adbel Fattah Al-Sisi’s public condolences to the families, it is confirmed that EgyptAir Flight MS804 did crash into the Mediterranean Sea, however, the cause has yet to be confirmed.
